The Opportunity
As ADC expands its presence and partnership network across Africa, the Corporation is seeking credible, experienced and well-connected professionals to serve as: ADC COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVES
The Country Representative will serve as ADC’s principal market-development and stakeholder-engagement focal person within an assigned country.
This is not merely a ceremonial or promotional appointment.
The Country Representative will be expected to actively support:
The role complements the ADC Regional Ambassador structure. Regional Ambassadors provide wider multi-country strategic oversight and coordination, while Country Representatives concentrate on execution, relationship-building, opportunity development and intelligence within a specific country. The underlying Regional Ambassador framework expressly provides for coordination of Country Representatives and monitoring of agreed country objectives.

The Country Representative shall report directly to the Regional Ambassador responsible for the applicable region.
Country Representatives remain accountable to ADC’s corporate policies, approval authorities and Executive Management.
The Regional Ambassador shall coordinate rather than create an independent hierarchy outside ADC’s approved management structure.
Role Purpose
The primary purpose of the ADC Country Representative is to facilitate ADC’s:
- market development;
- stakeholder engagement;
- partnership expansion;
- DiasporaHub adoption;
- market intelligence;
- institutional access; and
- controlled country-entry implementation
within the assigned country.
The Country Representative will help ADC to:
- Establish a credible institutional presence in the country.
- Identify and engage relevant public and private-sector stakeholders.
- Identify qualified strategic and service-provider partners.
- Support DiasporaHub market development.
- Provide reliable country-level commercial and regulatory intelligence.
- Support ADC’s Country Launch Clearance process.
- Identify opportunities for diaspora investment, trade and enterprise development.
- Support healthcare, financial services, real estate and other priority sector partnerships.
- Facilitate appropriate introductions to decision-makers.
- Support country-level campaigns and stakeholder events.
- Monitor emerging opportunities, risks and competitor activity.
- Provide structured monthly reports to the Regional Ambassador.

- Country Representation and Stakeholder Engagement
Represent ADC professionally within the assigned country in accordance with approved authority, policies and communication guidelines.
The Country Representative may support ADC participation in:
- Government meetings;
- business forums;
- investment events;
- healthcare conferences;
- trade fairs;
- technology forums;
- banking and financial-services events;
- real estate forums;
- development-partner meetings;
- professional associations;
- diaspora events;
- business networking programmes.
All official communication shall use approved ADC materials and messaging.
- Government and Institutional Engagement
Support ADC in identifying and engaging appropriate:
- Government ministries;
- investment-promotion agencies;
- diaspora-affairs institutions;
- health authorities;
- national health-insurance institutions;
- financial-sector regulators;
- central bank contacts where relevant;
- trade and commerce agencies;
- tourism authorities;
- technology/digital agencies;
- housing and real-estate institutions;
- embassies and diplomatic missions;
- chambers of commerce;
- universities;
- professional bodies.
The Regional Ambassador framework places strong emphasis on facilitating structured access to governments, regulators, institutions and decision-makers.
The Country Representative shall apply the same principle at country level.

- Country Market Intelligence
The Country Representative shall provide structured intelligence on:

Required Output
A Monthly Country Market Intelligence and Activity Report shall be submitted to the Regional Ambassador.
The Regional Ambassador will consolidate country reports for regional and Executive Management reporting.
- Country Launch Clearance Support
The Country Representative shall play an important fact-finding and coordination role in ADC’s Country Launch Clearance process.
The Representative may assist in identifying:
- Local legal advisers;
- tax advisers;
- regulators;
- licensing authorities;
- payment/banking institutions;
- data-protection authorities;
- consumer-protection bodies;
- qualified local service providers;
- regulatory documentation;
- local market-entry requirements.
- DiasporaHub Partner and Service Development
The Country Representative shall identify credible opportunities within relevant DiasporaHub service areas.
Healthcare and Health Insurance
Potential partners may include:
- Licensed health insurers;
- hospitals;
- pharmacies;
- telehealth providers;
- specialist healthcare organisations.
Real Estate
- Developers;
- property companies;
- verified agencies;
- mortgage partners;
- property-service providers.
Travel, Hospitality and Logistics
- Hotels;
- serviced apartments;
- transport companies;

- logistics businesses.
Security and Family Support
- Licensed security organisations;

- Country Partnership Pipeline
The Country Representative shall maintain a structured country pipeline covering:
Lead → Prospect → Initial Contact → Meeting Held → Due-Diligence Candidate → Proposal/MoU Discussion → Contracting → Integration → Active Partner
No prospective partner may be represented as an approved ADC partner until the required ADC approval and onboarding processes have been completed.
- Business, Investment and Trade Opportunities
The Country Representative should identify opportunities to:
- Promote trade relationships;
- support diaspora-linked business opportunities;
- identify credible enterprises;
- facilitate strategic introductions;
- connect SMEs with institutional opportunities;
- identify investment opportunities for further ADC assessment;
- support approved business missions;
- identify development-finance opportunities.
The Representative shall not:
- provide regulated investment advice;
- guarantee investment returns;
- solicit investments without approval;
- receive investor funds;
- make commitments on behalf of ADC.
The Regional Ambassador framework contains the same limitation regarding investment advice and commercial guarantees.
- Healthcare and Development Partnerships
Healthcare should receive particular attention where relevant to the country.
Potential engagement may include:
- Ministry of Health;
- national health-insurance authorities;
- insurers;
- hospitals;
- telehealth organisations;
- pharmacies;
- medical technology companies;
- specialist networks;
- healthcare infrastructure;
- international/development organisations.
All healthcare opportunities shall be escalated for appropriate due diligence and regulatory review before commitments are made.
- Diaspora and Community Engagement
The Country Representative should identify:
- diaspora-returnee networks;

- women-led organisations;
- chambers of commerce;
- entrepreneurship groups;

- relevant influencers and advocates.
This will support both partner development and DiasporaHub customer/community growth.
- Brand Visibility and Country Advocacy
Support ADC’s visibility through approved:

- community engagements;
- institutional meetings.
All public statements and regulated-product claims remain subject to ADC approval requirements, consistent with the Regional Ambassador framework.
- Country Events and Strategic Opportunities
The Country Representative should identify significant:

- banking conferences;
- real estate events;
- trade fairs;
- technology events;
- business forums;
- government/private-sector roundtables;
- diaspora programmes.
For each recommended event, provide:
